If you’re free after work this evening, consider joining us for drinks and a conversation around biking for transportation. Councilmember Sally Bagshaw will be there to talk about policy and infrastructure developments aimed at making Seattle more bikeable. I’ll also be on hand to share ideas for how one can make biking a viable form of urban transport.
From what I understand, Sally and I will each share thoughts for a few minutes, but afterwards the format will shift to a dialogue with attendees. So if you’re new to biking or considering it, this is a great opportunity to ask questions. If you’ve been riding for a while, this is a chance to share wisdom and insights that might encourage the less experienced.
It’s also just a great chance to have a drink and meet people!
Cascadia Consulting is sponsoring and hosting the event, which is the capstone to the two-week I Bike SEA pilot program (co-sponsored by the Bicycle Alliance of WA). The program is focused on getting more people on bikes for commutes and other short trips around town. Event details:
Location: Cascadia Consulting offices at 1109 1st Ave, Suite 400
Time: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
See you there!
