A Shoe for Seattle: Waterproof, Cleat-able, but not ‘Bikey’

We’ve got the new H20 from DZR Shoes many of you have been asking about.  H2OActually had them a few weeks now.  So far, pretty dang popular.

The scoop:

  • seam-sealed
  • highly water-resistant with a waterproof membrane sandwiched between soft sheepskin leather and the inner lining
  • reflective accents on the heels
  • an elastic loop on the tongue to batten down your laces
  • SPD-compatible cycling shoe
  • sole is stiff enough for good power transfer, yet has just enough give for all-day footwear
  • sized for men and women
  • $164

Yep, it’s as though you designed ‘em yourself.  Come check them out.

About Juliette

Juliette is a co-founder of Hub and Bespoke. Juliette has worked in product development for twenty years; initially in sportswear apparel design and then home textile products. Born of a French mother Juliette was taught early the importance of a beautiful presentation for all that was mundane. It must be pleasing to the eye as well as suitable. It is this sensibility that informs her approach to design: elegant solutions for everyday needs. She believes that design must reach beyond form and gather in purpose to guide the product development process; always asking “for what good?” With Hub and Bespoke Juliette hopes to: (a) curate a collection of elegant solutions and products that entices others to overcome perceived or real barriers to getting on their bikes, and (b) simplify the decision to take to two wheels.
